Purpose:
-
Provide education, training and support for foster parents enabling
them to understand and meet the physical, psychological and emotional
needs of the children in their care.
-
Promote communication between foster parents and agency personnel,
so each may better understand the others' role in the placement of
foster children and the associated issues.
-
Promote public relations so the general public better understands
foster parenting and by doing so, provide current information and
encourage more within our community to become York County foster
parents.
- Continue to advocate for issues that are in the best interest of children
